808’s & Heartbreak Album Review

KanYe West has a broken heart that might never be fixed. The death of his mother Donda West in November 2007 and the break-up in his relationship with Alexis Phifer has caused Mr. West a great deal of pain. Thus a new album was created that projects his emptiness and life on an emotional rollercoaster.

808’s & Heartbreak, is a concept album that was named after the use of both the Roland TR 808 drum machine and Auto-Tune which symbolizes everytime KanYe’s heart breaks. The album’s first song, Say You Will, sounds like an electrocardiogram and though the phase vocoder is way over used in music today, KanYe’s use of the pitch correction device stands out among the rest.

Most of you are probably blowing it and missing this right now. Nike Sportswear - Dunk Safari Pack

Nike Sportswear has decided to stick with the popular Safari and elephant print designs for some of its Spring/Summer 2009 releases. This Dunk Safari Pack shows the classic Dunk Hi’s and Lows in respective color ways and safari/elephant prints. You can’t ask Santa for these, but the Easter Bunny may just pop on through your crib and drop a pair of these joints off for you. HAAP.

Adidas has been uber successful with the ZX rollout.  These offer a back-to-basics look with a stealth running style.  Available soon at select Adidas accounts.

On that note, running long distances, unless the cops are chasing you, simply sucks.  HAAP.
